CONTRA presents a bold and insightful take on the daily reality of police officers, infused with humor and compassion. The performance explores the struggle for a more just society—and the complexities that come with it.

In a dynamic blend of dance, text, and live music, you step into the minds and hearts of several officers. What does it mean to uphold the law in a world full of chaos? How do you remain human within a system that is under strain?

CONTRA exposes the tensions between power and service, ideals and reality. From racism and bureaucracy to the deep desire to make a difference. The performance is based on true stories, drawn from investigative journalism and interviews with those directly involved, highlighting the imperfections of society.
